Create a Batch

Batches is where you track a brew run for your brewery.  It is a specific run of a specific product.

• Navigate to the Production->Batches page
• Click the 'Add Batch' button
• In the pop up window fill in the fields:
  • Select the Product you are brewing
  • Put in the number of turns on the brewhouse
  • Select the Recipe you are using
• At this point the batch is created but not yet started.  This gives you the opportunity to change the recipe if needed or put in dates to allow for scheduling.
• When you want to start the batch click the 'Start Batch' button
• In the pop up window set the start date and click the 'Save Changes' button
• The system will change the batch to 'In Progress' and assign a new batch number
