Product Repackaging

Objective: This SOP provides detailed instructions for product repackaging to maintain precise inventory records. This example will illustrate how to convert five IPA 50L kegs into ten 19.5L kegs.

Procedure:

Step 1: Access the Product Repackaging Interface

• Begin by accessing the product management system, and within the system, find and select the product repackaging function.

Step 2: Select the Product to Repackage

• Within the "Products" section of the interface, identify and click on the specific product you intend to repackage, such as IPA.

• Choose the particular variant of the finished product that aligns with your repackaging task. For example, if you're converting five IPA 50L kegs into ten 19.5L kegs, ensure that you select the "19.5L keg" option.

Step 3: Initiate Product Repackaging

• At the bottom of the left column within the interface, you'll find the "Product Repackage" button. Click on it to begin the repackaging process.

Step 4: Specify the Repackaging Details

• In the "Amount" field, input the number of new kegs you create through this repackaging process (in this instance, ten kegs).

• From the "Packaged From" dropdown menu, choose the original keg type you are converting (e.g., IPA 50L keg).

• Indicate the quantity of the original kegs you are utilising in the repackaging process; this would be five kegs in our example.

• Double-check the information you've entered to ensure its accuracy.

Step 5: Save Changes

• Execute the product repackaging process by clicking the "Save" button.

By diligently following this SOP, you can effectively manage the repackaging of products. This procedure ensures that your inventory accurately reflects changes made in the physical packaging of products, enhancing your inventory management and record-keeping capabilities.
